2 . Organization

Planning begins by the project manager, which will vary depending on the type of assignment: if it is a television series or multi-chapter docu-series, for example, planning will have to be made for the entire season, according to the specified deadline. by the client, whereas in the case of a film the number of scenes to be translated per day will have to be planned. 3. Translation and proofreading

The project manager will then send these materials to the translator or translators assigned to the project and the translation phase begins. At the end of this, the reviewers (made up of team translators and linguists), are in charge of examining it, and propose suggestions or corrections that the translator should take into account when reviewing it again. Once the text has been modified with the approval of the reviewers and translators, the adaptation phase begins. in which the length of the sentences is taken into account, the lip synchrony; or the length of speech of the characters, paying attention to their gestures and expressions to achieve a good result. We avoid artificial dialogues at all times.

4. Dubbing

Once the translation, revision and adaptation of the text has been carried out, the project passes into the hands of the dubbing director who will direct the dubbing actors and modify the translation if it does not fit correctly into the process. In this step the voiceover, synchronization and mixing of the audio will be carried out.

Upon receiving the track with the dubbed audio, we take care of the assembly and export of the final video. We carry out the necessary quality controls and guarantee that the specifications of the client and the production itself are met before delivery.

5. Evaluation

When the project has been delivered, the manager performs a “post-mortem” evaluation in which the problems that have arisen are reviewed in order to be able to anticipate them in future work. In addition, all the information used and important for other possible projects is saved.
Our company respects quality control and is based on the ISO 17100 standard of November 2015: we maintain contact with our client at all times, we review our translations exhaustively and we make sure we can offer a quality final product, which is appropriate to the purpose of the translation, and comply with the conditions and requirements of the client.
